Happy Birthday Dennis!

Today would have been Dennis' 63rd birthday. Dennis always loved birthdays because they would bring him close to his past with all the people most important to him wishing him yet another year of happiness.

Cheers, Dennis!

  1. Dennis,

Sometimes it took more than one call or more than a few days to get connected, but I always looked forward to calling you on your birthday. The date was so easy to remember (Thanks, June) and even if a year passed between a call or chance visit back home or in the Philadelphia area, you would graciously accept my best wishes and then listen patiently to my rants and ramblings.

This Saturday passed with a flood a recollections about our various adventures, countless conversations and long friendship. Alas for this world, not long enough.

Rest my friend, and happy birthday!

  2. This is the saddest happiest picture. I love the old blanket, the messy Dodge and the smile of expectation on your face. It's the hardest time but your courage is something to hold on to. Don't mind me if you hear me talking, I just never know what to say.
    Love

  3. Great picture! I need to keep remembering to check back here. Thanks for keeping it going, Rebecca. That shot looks like it was taken here in the hills. The car, a "Bonny and Clyde" mobile. I keep lookin' for the Tommy Gun in front of little DK. Much love, BF
