Four Years Ago

Four years ago today I felt Dennis's last breath on my cheek, I breathed it in and held it in my heart hoping it would keep him close to me forever. While our house is dark and cold from another winter storm power outage, just like that night four years ago, that last breath and the memory of the brilliant light that surrounded him warms my heart and soul.

  2. Hello - I haven't checked this blog in a long time. I had Dennis as a professor his first year at PhilaU (PCT&S back in my days). Just thought I'd let you know that even though you may not hear from people as often as before, there are many who still think about Dennis and remember him and will continue to do so for years and years. I posted an entry in my blog recently and mentioned Dennis, just thought you'd like to know. I enjoyed his creative assignments he had us do throughout the years.

I lost my brother in 2006 and my dad in 2013. I hope you continue to write in this blog because it surely helps, no matter if it's a long or short post. Writing about the grief journey helps in the healing.
